Please bring any related imaging (x-rays, CT scan, MRI) as well as a list of medications.
Please wear flexible and comfortable clothing. Shorts are preferred for the best visual assessment. Spare shorts and t-shirts are available in the event you have forgotten. Please wear whatever you are most comfortable in.

Please bring your “usual” footwear/equipment if your concern is activity-related.

What should I expect from my first appointment?
Please arrive 10 minutes early to your first appointment to fill out an intake form which will include a detailed health history.
The appointment will start with discussing your intake form as well as any additional concerns and reasons for seeking osteopathic care. Following this discussion, I will perform a physical assessment which may include posture and gait assessment as well as biomechanical assessment of joints and tissues. A targeted treatment plan will be developed and carried out based on your health history and assessment findings. Finally, we will discuss a future treatment plan which may include home exercises, follow-up treatments and/or referral to another health-care provider.
Does OHIP cover the cost of my appointment?
No, OHIP will not cover the cost of your osteopathy sessions.
Can you bill my insurance company directly?
I do not bill insurance companies directly. You will be provided with a receipt which will contain the clinic and my professional registration information. You can submit this receipt for re-imbursement.

If you wish to have your appointments covered by Blue Cross, you will need authorization. For CAF members, please speak to your Medical Officer. For VAC members, please speak to your Case Manager.
Do I need a doctor’s referral?
A physician’s referral is not necessary to book or visit for an appointment. However, some insurance companies may require one as a requirement for re-imbursement. It is best to check with your insurance company in advance.
